Right after the recent bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, hotel owner Roman Scott has started to make sure whether his guests and employees are safe or not. During an exclusive media interview, Roman Scott said that he was in a complete shock due to the attack and then became concerned for the safety of his staff.
The bomb blast took place at St Sebastian’s church which claimed dozen of lives. Mr. Scott further said that though no harm was caused to his staff members and guests, many citizens of Negombo had died during the devastating attack.
Through an email, Dilhan Fernando conveyed that the present event has made the country terribly wounded. He further said that the country hasn’t seen such violent attack even during the civil war. At present Scott and Dilhan are showcasing their concern over the Sunday attack. The doe said that it may be a possibility that in future several attacks may crumble the economy as a whole.
During a press event, Lahiru Pathmalal said that the present attack will hinder the overall economy of the country. At present few economists are seeking that the present event will affect the tourism sector of the country. While speaking to the press Alastair Newton said that the present happenings in the country may create great tension between several religious groups in the country.
Alastair Newton further said that the country will face a sudden fluctuation in its economy in the near future which would be very devastating for the country. The country also has divided governments which is another reason why most of the analysts are worried about communal riots between different sects. While speaking to the press, Neeraj Seth said that due to the bombings, most of the investors are eyeing whether the tourism sector of the country would get affected or not.
